DIY Macrame Keychain Tutorial (Leafy Vine Pattern)

👉 NOTE: See what order to attach the cords down below, one is shorter than the others.

Learn how to make an easy DIY macrame keychain in this step by step tutorial! This leafy vine macrame keychain is a perfect 15 minute arts and crafts project and only uses two basic knots: the lark's head knot and the double half hitch knot.

This pattern is easy enough for confident beginners and the instructions super clear and easy to follow.

You can use the knot pattern from this keyring and add it to other projects like wall hangings or plant hanger! Or you could change it up by adding some beads or making it with single strand cotton cord and brushing out the tassel at the end. Feel free to get creative!

SUPPLIES YOU'LL NEED:

▶︎ Braided 3mm macrame cord in the following lengths: https://tidd.ly/3Kq0RFy
- 1 piece @ 20" long (far right cord)
- 3 pieces @ 52" long (3 left cords)
- 1 piece @ 20" long (for wrapping knot)
▶︎ 1" lobster keychain clasp: https://tidd.ly/33wlbV5
▶︎ Tape or a corkboard and T-Pins to hold your work

👉 NOTE: Make sure you attach the cords to the keychain hook in following order:

Put the 3 pieces that are 52" long on and scoot them to the left, then put the 1 piece that's 20" long on the far right. The shorter piece will be used as a filler cord the whole time.
