Round Crochet Rug Pattern! | Free Tutorial

Learn how to make an easy round crochet rug in this step by step tutorial that's easy enough for beginners!

For this circular rug pattern, I used 9 mm Bobbiny braided macrame cord and a 16 mm crochet hook. This circle mat works up really fast with that size of cord!

If you don't have a 16 mm crochet hook, you could probably make this DIY rug by hand although I haven't tried it.

SUPPLIES YOU'LL NEED //

▶︎ 1 skein of 9 mm Bobbiny Jumbo Braided Cord - Natural: https://tidd.ly/3txVNIt
Extra cord for fringe
NOTE - I didn't have enough of the Bobbiny cord left over for fringe after 12 rounds, but I had some DMC Nova Vita in my stash and I used that for fringe instead.
If you want to use the same cord for fringe, you'll need to either get 2 skeins, or use a different yarn, or you can leave the fringe off entirely. It's up to you!
