Today we will discuss the Kali Yuga.

It is a time of darkness and despair among humanity and across the entire Earth, when chaos, confusion, and hypocrisy reigns.

The four ages are Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dvapara Yuga, and Kali Yuga — and all together these four comprise one full yuga cycle, just as the fours seasons make up a year.

One thousand Yuga cycles is equal to a day of Brahma, also known as a kalpa."

Hindu texts describe four yugas in a cycle, beginning with the first age of Krita Yuga (the golden age).

We are told each Yuga's length decreases by one-fourth in respect to the previous cycle.

Though I think the stories are true, I don't believe the actual timelines we are given.
