Emergency on the farm with Mabel the baby donkey rescued from slaughter Ep. 42

Episode 42
2023 is starting out with all kinds of adventures! First, a stray dog shows up on the farm and we take him in and next we are having an emergency situation with Mabel the baby donkey rescued from slaughter just about a year ago. If you don't know Mabels story check out her video below.

SO...Friday night Kara was over visiting, helping me make goat milk soap and everything was fine with Mabel. We were in the pasture playing with her and giving her lots of pets. I woke up Saturday morning to feed everyone and walked into the pasture to see an emergency situation with Mabel. Her eye was completely red and swollen to the point we didn't know if her eye was still intact. I called the vet and they advised me it could be ruptured and we needed to get her in as soon as possible. We had no idea what happened durning the night but this video is an update on Mabels vet exam and prognosis.

I mentioned in this video too, that we are taking Anna the rescued draft horse to the vet to have her leg checked because she still isn't putting weight on it. I will get an update video out as soon as possible because I know many of you have following Anna's story from the beginning.
