Flying to Sudan for the FIRST TIME / Best Hotel in Khartoum πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡©

Today, I am taking a flight from Nairobi, Kenya to a place that not many people visit which is Khartoum, Sudan.

For the best two and a half weeks I will be staying at the best hotel in Sudan which is the Al Salam Rotana Hotel in Khartoum. This hotel was very good but had outrageous prices in terms of accommodations ($280 for a standard hotel room) and food ($54 for the dinner buffet).

Right beside the Rotana Hotel, there is the Afra Mall, the largest mall in Sudan. This mall was a little run down but definitely had everything you'd need. And the highlight of this first day in Sudan is for sure the Sudanese people who are just SO SO SO welcoming!
