WISDOM BITS - you are stronger than any trauma. What you relive is a reminiscence of own attachments
Traumas all happened in the past, and that is what a powerful attachment was created towards. Investing energy into it (by thinking about it, reimagining it) are signs of being programmed to relive pain as if interested in not escaping it, and almost like getting used to it. This is what a sick society ultimately wants: revel in own pain, enjoy it and cherish it as the greatest that can happen in your life. You remember the last thing that you focused on, and don't forget: your unconscious mind works even when you don't notice, even when you sleep. Be sure that it has been busy remodeling details about anything painful: hiding them, making them look worse to try to hasten and "harden" (fear) responses or making them look less than they were. Once such taint is inflicted on those memories, their truth is buried, therefore becoming harder and harder to bring back to memory.
