I got a new trainer a few weeks ago, and it's time to start drilling down and calibrate it. I'm going to make sure this trainer is calibrated and I'm going to do some testing in terms of zones. We'll be doing a basic workout going through each zone to see if the new FTP is what I should be at alongside a calibration.

Zwift is a workout platform for cyclists and runners. It is home to hundreds of thousands of cyclists and runners worldwide. I use it to train for my triathlon events. I’m a HS All American swimmer and swam for BYU back in the 2000’s. Bike is my weakest by far, so that’s why I’m on this platform!

A few FAQ’s:
Yes, this is my bike, it’s a Cannondale CAAD 12 running Shimano 105 components. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done.
I use a Tacx Flux S direct drive trainer. Just got it, works great and is super quiet!
I do Olympic and Sprint distance triathlons. I’ve done two half Ironman distance events, but that’s too long for me to train for, so I stick to shorter races.
My current swim time is about a 1:20/100yd open water and that’s only swimming about an hour a week, if that.
I’ve been a content creator since 2005, streaming since 2016 and Zwifting since 2019.
