RECYCLED FABRIC GIRLS SKIRT - DM me for the fabric measurements (sizes 2-10).

Cut out the fabric from your pattern. The skirt I am sewing is a girls size 6 years.

Overlock and sew the side seams together. If you don’t have an over locker, use French seams or zigzag.

Press seams flat as you go.

Overlock the top and bottom edges. Again use zigzag if you don’t have an overlocker.

Turn up the hem and sew.

To make the elastic casing, position the elastic at the top of the skirt to measure the amount of fabric you will need to turn over. Pin all the way around.
