Chapter 24: The Throne Room

There was a large set of doors that opened outward. Each door was made out of a single pearl embossed with what seemed to be the crest of Jerusalem made out of transparent glass with a gold tint. The crest had a lion standing on its two back paws in what looked to be some sort of attack position. There were seven angels that looked like they were just waiting to blow their regal-looking long trumpets made out of solid gold. Three of the angles were on the left of the opening, three on the right of the opening, and one was flying directly above the opening. The throne was on the opposite side of the room. The walls looked like a bookshelf from a giant library. The walls were completely covered in books. The floor looked like it was made out of glass or crystal, and it reflected the ceiling, which seemed to have a three-dimensional mural painted onto it that looked like a picture of the cosmos. The ceiling seemed to have no end as if your eyes could keep focusing in further and further to see a complete history of the universe.

The Victor sat at the throne with the scepter in his hand. The scepter had a golden serpent spiraling around it with an emerald jewel at the end of it. There was a rainbow surrounding the throne made only of shades of green. It was as if the green light was being refracted by a prism and dispersion separated it into different green frequencies that our heightened senses could differentiate. Beside the Victor were four angels unlike anything I had ever seen. I think they were angels. It looked like there was nothing they could not see because they were completely covered in eyeballs on the front and back. One of the eyeball creatures was in the shape resembling a lion. One of the eyeball creatures was in the shape resembling calf. The third eyeball creature actually had a human face where the eyeballs parted. The fourth eyeball creature had the shape of an eagle with its wings extended. The eyeball creatures looked like they could see everything because their eyes would go cross-eyed looking at separate things and then suddenly all the eyeballs will focus on one object or one point in space. Every once in a while one eyeball from one of the creatures would make eye contact with me. Surrounding the four eyeball creatures were seven torches that formed a regular heptagon shape. Each torch seemed to glow a different color of the rainbow as if there was different elements burning in the fire to cause it to glow a certain color. The torches were red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet in that order. Surrounding the torches were two semicircle arcs of smaller thrones that were concentric on the center primary Throne. On the left arc there were 12 thrones, and on the right arch there were another 12 thrones.

The glass floor seemed to have melted and rose to solidify into crystal chairs fixed to the floor. I was seated in one of the crystal chairs fixed to the floor. There were a large number of people seated in these chairs as if it was a large graduation ceremony.

I heard the Victor call out a man’s name in a strong but gentle voice. The man rose from his seat and walked toward the Throne, and then he knelt on one knee in front of it in a reverent manner. The Victor then stood up and place the scepter on his right shoulder.

Tears started to stream down the man’s face. I couldn’t tell if they were tears of joy or tears of sadness. The Victor said “Arise! My friend, from now on, you will bow to no one.” The Victor lowered his scepter, and the man stood to his feet. The Victor took his hand and wiped the tears from the man’s eyes and gave him a big hug that lasted a couple seconds. An angel holding a royal pillow with an elaborate crown resting on it approached the Victor. The Victor took the crown and placed it on the man’s head.

“For your perseverance under great trial, you are awarded the Crown of Life. With this crown you may claim an audience with the Creator. ” The man took the crown off his head and placed it on the ground in front of the Victor, which seemed to be a sign of deference and respect.

This happened four more times. Each time a different angel brought a different crown, the Victor said something as he placed the crown on the man’s head, and the man placed the crown before the Victor’s feet.

“For your diligent leadership marked by humility, you are awarded the Crown of Glory. With this crown, you may claim dominion over angels.”

“For your faithful vigilance marked with love for my return, you are awarded the Crown of Righteousness. With this crown, you may partake in the Eternal Marriage Rite with the Victor.”

“For your selfless concern for other human souls, you are awarded the Crown of Rejoicing. With this crown you may have authority over other human souls. ”

“For your discipline and integrity marked by triumph, you are awarded the Imperishable Crown. With this crown you have an imperishable inheritance and may lay claim to an everlasting estate.”

Then an angel picked up the five crowns and put them one on top of the other. The five crowns seemed to fit perfectly and interlock together into one large crown. The angel handed the large crown to the Victor. The Victor then placed the large crown back on the man’s head “Well done my good and faithful servant!” The angel then escorted the man back to his seat.

Then I heard the Victor call out my name in a strong but gentle voice. I rose from my seat and walked toward the Throne and knelt on one knee in front of it as I had seen the man do before me. The Victor stood up and placed the scepter on my right shoulder.

Suddenly all of my sins in my entire life that were redacted from my appraisal flashed before my eyes. I felt how all my sins had sadden the Victor. I knew that the Victor was seeing my sins in the vision as I was. I regretted every single one of them, and I wished that I had done better in my temporal life. But then I felt the Victor’s love for me, and it was as if he understood and everything was forgiven. Tears started to stream down my face. The Victor said “Arise! My friend…
