Glacier Girl WWII Airplane Restoration, at Polk County Archaeology Club

Paula and Ed White were involved in the restoration of Glacier Girl, a WWII Airplane downed in Greenland in July 1942. We so appreciate them coming and sharing with us the process of restoration of the historic airplane that is being flown again.
As of March 2004, Glacier Girl was the only World War II fighter flying today with its original engines and props and guns.
I first saw it at a SunNFun air show in Lakeland Florida when I volunteered years ago.
