NHL REFEREES ADMITTED THEY FIXED GAMES!

In 1969, 3 writers, Stan Fischler, Dick Beddoes, & Ira Gitler wrote a a book called "Hockey! The Story of the World's Fastest Game". The book glossed over the deep mob & criminal founding roots of the National Hockey League, which one would expect...but then, seemingly, out of nowhere, a chapter pops up called "The Troubles of the NHL". Later editions of the book completely omitted that chapter.
