BX Swan Lake Fire Rescue Responds to Bush Fire Near Transient Camp

BX Swan Lake Fire Rescue Responds To A Bush Fire Near A Transient Campsite Highway 97 and Meadowlark Road.

Calls came in to 911 around 1:30 pm Saturday October 28th 2023. Fire crews quickly knocked down the small blaze.

Traffic was reduced to one lane southbound on Highwasy 97.

The Fire was between the CN tracks and Swan lake very near the scale just North of Vernon.

A fire hose was laid across the CN tracks. CN Police attended.
