Mayor John Cranley told CNBC Cincinnati would "do whatever it takes" to secure that coveted Amazon contract. One possibility is building decks over Fort Washington Way (Interstate 71) to create four new acres of real estate in downtown Cincinnati, said County Commissioner Todd Portune. "With the decks on Fort Washington Way, that plays prominent in this region's ability to successfully compete for the Amazon headquarters HQ2 project, which is a $38 billion dollar economic impact project if we are successful."
