Delight Yourself IN THE LORD And HE WILL..

"Delight yourself also in the LORD, and HE shall give you the desires of your heart.." (Psalm 37:4)

Just one of the promises of the LORD our God. Too many write of 'unanswered' prayers as either: "oh well, I guess it's not 'Gods will..'", or as simply, "you see, God doesn't answer all our prayers." When the truth of the matter is that HE does what HE says HE will do and too often, as uncomfortable and unwilling as we may to hear this - God will NEVER answer any prayers that Go Aginst His Own Word and are Contrary To His WILL - even if it's "OUR HEARTS DESIRE"!

When we learn to "Abide in Him" and not just call on God when we 'feel like it', and, when "His Words Abide In Us" - and we're not trying to "redefine" or "change the parameters" of His Words - THEN AND ONLY THEN can we expect to RECEIVE THE ANSWERS TO OUR HEARTS DESIRES because it is when we "abide in Him" and "His words abide in US" that we understand our ABBA and know His will for us..and our prayers match His desires and His will for us - THAT IS WHEN WE CAN FULLY EXPECT HIS ANSWER! Even if it's still not what we "think it should be", but, are truly understanding that it's "knowing that it's His way that is best for us.." ALWAYS!
