CYGNETS GET SUCKED INTO STORM WATER DRAIN DURING PERTHS WET WINTER part 2/3

Part 2/3... As I was heading home I spotted the Swans attempting to cross back over to the river where once again I had to quickly pull over. Due to the heavy rains the roads were flooding and the cygnets got caught in the current along the kerbside .. before I knew it they got sucked in the stormwater drain! The swans were so distressed I quickly raced to get the other cygnets to safety. All of a sudden I heard the two cygnets calling from the drain and ran to my car to get a tool to lever the concrete lid off the drain. Others nearby helped to lift up the lid while I grabbed the cygnets one by one... they then ran towards the river where the mother raced towards them The family was reunited and we were left in tears! They were the cutest little things I've ever seen!
