Flipping a geobin compost pile

First we removed all compost from the geobin.
The total volume of the bin is 246 gallons when full. For compost volume is key, you are looking for a volume that is 3’x3’x3’ is ideal. You can compost in smaller quantities, it may take longer and larger items may take multiple times in the compost pile to breakdown.

Then repeat the process until the geobin was full. Now this geobin will sit from October until spring of 2024. In spring all of the garden beds and grow bags will get topped off with compost.
