Turkey ‘cannot possibly afford’ to intervene in Israel-Hamas conflict - MBD NEWS

Turkey “cannot possibly” afford to intervene militarily in Israel’s dispute with Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, says Sky News contributor Joe Hildebrand.

His remarks come after Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan labelled Israel an “occupier” and accused it of behaving like a war criminal.

Mr Hildebrand said the Turkish President will only use “words and not actions” against Israel.

“Turkey cannot possibly afford to intervene military in this dispute and it knows it – which is why he’s talking a big game,” Mr Hildebrand said.

“Already we’ve had the US, I think they’ve been bombing Iranian backed installations in Syria, so already it’s kind of spreading.

“Iran knows that it probably can’t come in officially at full throttle because of course again, no one is going to go to war with America.”
