EXCLUSIVE: Dockwalk 2023 Transat Jacques Vabre. There's a huge storm predicted for the Bay of Biscay
1 year ago

Sailing World on Water's French videographer, Christophe Favreau, has walked the Transat Jacques Vabre in Le Harve prior to todays' wild start in the Bay of Biscay.
95 yachts in four classes will start today and through a series of directions hopefully arrive at the finish in Caribbean. Due to the storm the Class 40 boats will be held in Lorient until the storm blows over.
The other classes will not be held and will face the fury of the weather system.
Remember this is a double handed race.
Keep watching the "World on Water" for regular reports on the race in English.
