From Sheridan Le Fanu’s 1871 Gothic novella Carmilla through The Vampire Diaries spin-offs, the very specific trop of the lesbian vampire is fairly ubiquitous. But is there also something more to it? Something part and parcel of what the vampire really represents? We'll explore this and other questions on this special Halloween week edition of Last Call!
