Pride...

Proverbs 11:2 says,
"When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.”

And yet, we live in a world where pride becomes invisible to the individual because it’s become so easy to justify one’s actions in a polarized world that caters to insecurity and feelings over truth and grace.

When we stop forgiving, we step outside of God’s plan for us. Pride is the number one tool the enemy uses to get us to turn our back on what God’s calls us to be as His representatives of Love in this fallen world.
When your mind is turned against someone and forgiveness lacks while bitterness abounds, focus on Jesus and the Cross, and don’t stop until your heart surrenders to that degree of grace.

Noone will see the Truth through us unless they see that type of surrender, which forces us to kill our pride.

Be gentle and ready to forgive; never hold grudges. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

"Most of all, let love guide your life, for then the whole church will stay together in perfect harmony. Let the peace of heart that comes from Christ be always present in your hearts and lives, for this is your responsibility and privilege as members of his body. And always be thankful.”
Colossians 3:13-15

If we don’t, all we’ll see is the decayed fruits of darkness...

2 Timothy 3:1-4 says,
" But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.”

Our world is upside down, and if that passage doesn’t resonate as true to you, I pray you humble your heart and seek God today. Jesus Christ is the revelation of God as a person and what it truly means to love your neighbor as yourself.
Are you willing to lay your life down for someone who hates you? Of course not, but God did just that, in the person of Jesus- so that YOU and I could be saved from the eternal punishment of our sins.

PRIDE is keeping you from seeking Him today, and feeling that TRUE peace that only comes with a relationship with your Creator thru Jesus. The pride of life, the. pride of status, of things… Let it all go. The god of this world, Satan, WANTS you to care more about things of this world than God’s kingdom, don’t let him fool you into rejecting the free gift of salvation. You can’t take anything from this world with you when you die. Don’t let pride ruin relationships in your life. Humble yourself before its too late.

God bless you, I pray this finds you at peace.
