Shooting in east Bakersfield leaves man dead

Bakersfield Police are investigating in east Bakersfield after one person was shot near South King and East 3rd Street.  Police say they got the call at around 8:10 p.m. on Saturday and arrived to find two victims of a shooting. The victim is said to have moderate to major injuries. Police say they are looking for three black males who fled in a dark SUV in connection to the shooting. Police say the man who was shot Saturday night on South King Street and East 3rd Street has died. Police found him suffering from multiple gunshot wounds just after 8 p.m. Saturday night and the man later died at the hospital from his injuries.
