A police chase ended early Sunday when the suspect crashed into a downtown Cincinnati building. The car then caught fire. Sgt. Tim Buchanan, with the Norwood Police Department, said the chase started near Interstate 71 and Dana Avenue. Officers chased the suspect to Interstate 471 in Campbell County, at which point Buchanan said the car went back into Cincinnati. The suspect crashed into another vehicle, then hit a building at Ninth and Elm streets. Both the suspect and a passenger were taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. A person from the other vehicle also was hospitalized.
