Disgraceful Starmer remains on Israel's side as Labour MP's rebel.

Dissent in the Labour ranks finally as a dozen shadow ministers back calls for a ceasefire despite Starmer still saying no.
Right, so despite the fact there are estimated to be in the region of half a million people demonstrating in London alone today in favour of Palestine, especially poignant after the night of sheer terror citizens of the Gaza Strip have endured overnight, having been bombarded ceaselessly, white phosphorus again having been deployed, and the senseless shelling of residential areas and public service buildings all under the guise of hitting Hamas, an excuse frankly which is becoming harder and harder to swallow by more and more people, and that’s despite Western media and leaders still backing the oppressors over the oppressed. Few politicians have been more sycophantically sickening than Labour leader Keir Starmer and his unquestioning absolute support for the Israeli state no matter what and despite those protests going on today a statement has come out from his spokesperson reiterating this, but behind all of that the cracks are starting to show. Where one shadow minister had dared speak out against Starmer’s Labour position and voicing support for Palestine, that number has now grown to twelve shadow ministers at time of writing. So far, Starmer has not sacked anyone, but will he allow this dissent to stand, undermining his own authority, or will he finally accept he’s on the wrong side of this and does it matter when he’s resisted that for so long? Is it too late for him now and is that why some are finding the spine to oppose his senseless, inhumane diktat?
Right, so protests and demonstrations in favour of Palestine are happening up and down the country today and with estimates of up to half a million people in London alone showing solidarity with Palestine in the face of genocide, this looks to be the biggest call to our politicians of both sides who are still resolutely standing by Israel despite the death and destruction they are raining down on innocent civilians, that we aren’t putting up with it, that we expect better, that they have it wrong and above all, that they do not speak for us in this matter. Despite all of that though, at least one leader is refusing point blank to budge an inch on this, is still resolutely standing by Israel, taking the side of the coloniser, the oppressor and as much as the attacks by Hamas are rightly and justifiably condemnable, the counter offensive mounted by Israel is utterly inhumane, completely disproportionate and amounts to little more than ethnic cleansing and genocide, as if Hamas just gave them the excuse to do what they really wanted, to just eradicate the Palestinian population there. Starmer has this afternoon issued a statement reiterating his frankly untenable position, refusing to accept he's wrong, because frankly I don’t think he’s capable of it. He can’t apologise for blatantly advocating for war crimes, he won’t back down here and now either and frankly when he’s looking at his polling numbers and seeing a General Election majority on the cards, he sees no reason to shift on anything.
