Numbers update: The death toll from Israeli retaliatory strikes in Gaza has reached 7,326 people, including more than 3,000 children; more than 18,000 have been wounded, since October 7th. 1.4 million citizens have been displaced. Israel has taken down all forms of communications ahead of what could be the ground incursion. RT's last communications to Gaza was with Ruptly's journalist Masoud Abu Jarash who reported it was terrifying.

(Daniel Hagari) IDF announced Israel expanding/extending it's ground operation. 150 "underground" targets struck in Gaza overnight, killing HAMAS aerial array.

The Red Crescent says all communications have gone.

Washington says there are no red lines ahead and the Iranian foreign minister says the situation could get out of control with new fronts if the attacks escalate and put Israel in a "new situation". Hossein Amir-Abdollahian says the US is running the war and has called it a proxy war.

Yasen Eken reports from the Israel/Lebanon border and says drones can be heard the whole day and night and sporadic clashes have occurred. Towns have been evacuated in the Israeli "buffer zone". Yasen asked how ready is the Israeli military?

In the United Nations General Assembly a humanitarian resolution was passed. As the meeting continued Israeli airstrikes and bombing continued. 120 voted to uphold the resolution whilst 45 abstained and 14 voted against it. UN posted "The United Nations General Assembly on Friday adopted a resolution calling for an “immediate, durable and sustained humanitarian truce” between Israeli forces and Hamas militants in Gaza. It also demands “continuous, sufficient and unhindered” provision of lifesaving supplies and services for civilians trapped inside the enclave, as news reports suggest Israel has expanded ground operations and intensified its bombing campaign."

Israel's UN amb. Gilad Erdan said voting for peace is the same as supporting HAMAS. Dan Kovalik, human rights and labour lawyer and Yoni Ben-Menachem give comments to Rory.

Protests demanding a ceasefire continue across the globe. RT hears from Mohammed Najib (a journalist). The Arab world supports Palestine, worries about civilian deaths. In New York, 200 have been arrested in pro-Palestinian protests.
