The disembodied souls of the departed, or sinister forces of darkness? Ghosts, Spirits, and their like are as common a threat across the multiverse as the other enemies we've discussed so far but what makes them such a compelling force in media? Much like the bandits and beasts we've covered already there are a wide variety of spiritual beings populating the various locales we might visit in our travels, each governing their own spheres of influence. These transient spirits are incorporeal, only able to manifest in the physical realm once they've siphoned enough spiritual entity, or take control of a host's body via possession, and seek to influence mortal affairs in order to further their own goals. Their limited ability to effect the physical world leads many of these phantoms to influence people through fear and suggestive thinking.
