Gaza Premature Babies Risk As Hospitals Limp On
14 medical facilities in Gaza have stopped working due to a lack of fuel and electricity after Israel cut their supplies at the beginning of the month, leading to a huge burden on other hospitals in the enclave.
A doctor at Al-Shifa Hospital, Samer Lubbad, said that machines used to care for premature babies are under threat due to overuse, while he fears the electricity supply will run out at any time.
