Iran trained Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad weeks before the October 7 attack on Israel, as per a report. 500 militants reportedly took part in training last month led by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Tehran has long been accused of providing arms and training to Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Iran has justified the Hamas assault, but it continues to deny playing a role in its planning.
