-iron is a necessary co-factor in work of 2 enzymes
-tyrosine hydroxylase & triptophan hydroxylase
These are responsible for production of

Start: those iron deficient:
-slower & poorer performing on cognitive tests
-when iron levels RESTORED, test results improved 5 to 7 times
Parents would never knowingly deny their children of iron…
