Abandoned Nation

I wrote this on the day we extracted our troops from Iraq … on that day we didn’t just abandon a people we abandoned democracy!!! We’ve left an occupying force in many other countries we’ve gone to war with… but this time all we left was a stockpile of weapons and a pissed off Taliban!! My heart goes out to all those touched by the innocent lives taken…and for those who laid theirs down in the name of FREEDOM!!!
