Families of Israeli hostages face unbearable trauma - BBC News

Hundreds of families in Israeli are enduring the trauma of knowing their loved ones were among those attacked by Hamas when they raided southern Israel, killing 1,400 people and taking more than 200 into captivity.

For the families of those hostages the agony is continuing day after day. There have been daily protests in Israeli involving affected families.

Many are angry about what they see as failures in security that left them unprotected. Others oppose the Israeli response in Gaza and fear it will endanger the lives of hostages held there.
