How to make delicious Turmeric Rice

It is so easy to make delicious Turmeric Rice at home, a wonderful side dish to enhance a Dinner.

Turmeric Rice
Ingredients:
1-3/4 cups Rice
1 sm White Onion, finely chopped
1 large Garlic Clove, minced
1-1/2 tsp Turmeric
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
3-1/2 cups Chicken Broth
1/2 tbsp Parsley, chopped
2 tbsp Coconut Oil

Wash and dry Rice.
On med/high temp, heat the Coconut Oil.
Sauté Onions until soft.
Add Garlic and stir.
Incorporate Turmeric, Salt & Pepper, sauté shortly.
Add Rice stir and cook 5-6 Minutes on high heat until lightly toasted.
Add Chicken Broth, stir and bring to a boil.
Cover, lower heat and simmer 15-20 Minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat, rest for 5 Minutes.
Fluff the Turmeric Rice with a fork and sprinkle with the Parsley.
Enjoy!
