Putin invites Biden 'for tea' as US-supplied ATACMS arrive in Ukraine

Vladimir Putin has invited Joe Biden for tea, suggesting that he take back the long-range Army Tactical Missile System (Atacms) the US sent to Ukraine.

The Russian president urged Mr Biden to visit Moscow "for blinis and tea" a day after Ukrainian forces used American-supplied ATACMS for the first time in some of the most destructive attacks to have been carried out on Russian air assets since the beginning of the war.

His comments could be viewed as a veiled threat, given the Kremlin's previous form for allegedly poisoning the tea of its enemies.
