Specialists of the repair and restoration battalion of the combined arms army of the Southern Military District continue to carry out combat missions in the Zaporozhye direction of the special military operation. The battalion's military personnel carry out routine maintenance and restoration of systems, components, assemblies and weapons of armoured vehicles, as well as artillery equipment at a collection point for damaged vehicles.

In field conditions, the department’s specialists carry out restoration work of any complexity thanks to their high qualifications and the use of modern maintenance and repair equipment. To maintain the high combat effectiveness of units of the Russian group of forces and ensure their continuous conduct of combat operations, first of all, the weapons that are necessary to carry out the combat mission are repaired, as well as weapons that can be repaired in the shortest possible time.
