Family Health Day brings free screenings to a location near you on Sunday

Churches and civic organizations are offering free health screenings and flu shots during Sunday's Family Health Day at various locations across the Queen City.  Adult screenings include HIV, glucose, blood pressure, vision, prostate, brain health, lung, asthma and senior care assessments. Mammography units are stationed at several locations.   Follow-up appointments can be made on the same day if results are not normal. Information on heart and diabetes, nutrition, cancer, prenatal and maternal care and senior care will be available. Children's screenings include brain health, dental, hearing, BMI, asthma, vision and speech/language. Fun and educational activities will also be available for them.
