CCTV: VICIOUS SLAB-ATTACK ON UK MUSLIM WOMAN

Africans make up nearly a third of the global Muslim population. Some 45% of Africans are Muslim. The rise of Islamophobia - especially in Western diaspora countries - is therefore a major concern for Africans.

One such country is the UK. On October 20, London police reported a 140% increase in Islamophobic attacks in the city since October 7th - when the latest escalation between Palestine and Israel began following a Hamas attack in southern Israel.

One particularly shocking incident of apparent Islamophobia occurred on Tuesday in the UK. Police there are investigating a White man who attacked a Muslim woman in Dewsbury town in West Yorkshire. The attack was caught on CCTV.

In the video, you can see a hooded man running across the street and throwing what appears to be a paving slab at a hijab-wearing woman. A 57-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the assault.
