County commissioners want to fire her for neglect and incompetence along with going to the news media when County Administrator John Gibbs wanted to slash her department's budget to two-point-five-million dollars for this fiscal year. The Ottawa Impact-majority board appears ready to fire her and hire Nate Kelly for the job. Kelly was against all COVID-19 measures put in place at the local, state, and federal levels, while Hambley backed them.
