He is the director of the Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism at the City University of New York and has been a vocal advocate for the Open Web and the importance of innovation in journalism.

Jeff's new book The Gutenberg Parenthesis traces the epoch of print from its fateful beginnings to our digital present – and draws out lessons for the age to come.
