Has anyone ever worked up a sweat like this before?
⚠️ It’s hot out, STAY HYDRATED!💧Here’s some tips to keep you safe and going strong:
Drink plenty of fluids. You can still drink energy drinks/coffee, but try and maintain a 1:1 relation of one water bottle for every 120 grams of caffeine (at least).
Up the salts!! Don’t be afraid to add a little salts to your eggs, and especially before and after a hard workout. This will help you retain fluids appropriately!!!
DON’T DRINK TOO MUCH WATER! Water intoxication (or “water poisoning”) is a real thing, I’ve seen it happen. Drink your fill, and sip the water often rather then gulping or slamming it down.
⚠️ Dehydration symptoms:
• Darker-than-usual urine
• Not urinating despite steadily drinking water
• Muscle cramps
• Fatigue
• Fever or chills
• Craving sweets
• Dry mouth/skin
• Fast heartbeat
• Irritability
• Confusion
