oh and the 1903 was my Dad's Dad's. He bought it as war surplus after the war. H had served in the Navy. He was on a converted steamer to an armed ship (but not with any armor) as a convoy escort. After the war he decided he wanted one. I have no idea where he got the sword scabbard.
