Even though living on Europa is challenging due to Harsh Cold, Intense Radiation, Icy Surface, Limited Resources and the potential for unknown life forms, NASA is on a quest to determine if the Moon's rocky core interacts with its ocean to create heat and hydrogen. Studying oxidants in the icy shell will gauge oxygen production and its flow into the sea.
By 2025, as NASA delves deeper into Europa, they may unveil more secrets, possibly even active volcanoes beneath the icy surface, channelling vital minerals into the ocean.
