Osho on Awareness

I learned recently that one of my favorite authors, Anthont De Mello, had been heavily influenced by the Indian mystic Osho, but De Mello had never so much as cited Osho for fear of being criticized by other Catholics!
This clip of Osho talking about awareness in the 1970s shares obvious talking points with De Mello's best-selling 1990 book "Awareness", and one of De Mello's close friends, Carlos Vallés, revealed in a public letter in 2021 that De Mello owned copies of every book written by Osho!
