US GDP Surges to 4.9%, UAW Makes a Deal With Ford
United States GDP growth surged in the third quarter to 4.9% year over year thanks in no small part to government, companies, and individuals spending money they don't have. Elsewhere the UAW has reached a tentative agreement with Ford to end the ongoing strike, a deal which could pave the way for an end to similar strikes at the other 2 big automakers.
