Bodycam footage shows firefighters battling shed/carport blaze in Concord

Back in September, the Concord Volunteer Fire Department shared a few photos and info about a shed/carport fire they responded to.

But this week, they shared bodycam footage showing the moments as a firefighter responded to the situation.

The dramatic footage records the swift response of the team riding to the scene and the firefighter pulling out the hose to start battling the blaze.

The fire happened on Pond View Lane just before 7 a.m.

Firefighters believe the flames were started from an outdoor cooker. CVFD also said one of the homeowners suffered minor burns to their arm, which destroyed the carport and everything inside.
