Las Vegas SWAT Cop Discovers the Healing Power

Police Officer Allyn Goodrich is an 18-year veteran of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department who has the best and worst of the umami conditions. The unending parade of cruelty and violence has taken its toll, and like many, the horror of the Route 91 massacre haunts him. But heeding the advice of a friend and mentor, he began writing about his experiences as a form of catharsis which he credits with emotional healing, and he found that by penning stories about the kindness and compassion he has seen from his fellow officers, a novel was born.

“October Strong” is a powerful and entertaining story about the singular and collective journeys of seemingly unconnected people culminating on that fateful October night when the worst Nass shooting in history took place on the Las Vegas Strip.
