‘Squad' Member Jamaal Bowma Surrenders: Congress Fire Alarm Incident
'Squad' member Jamaal Bowman surrendered himself to authorities on Thursday morning after pulling a fire alarm and disrupting an official proceeding in Congress in late September.
Bowman had made the excuse that he “did not realize he would trigger a building alarm” when he pulled the fire alarm.
“The Congressman regrets any confusion,” Bowman's representative claimed.
Bowman also told reporters: “I thought the alarm would open the door.”
Many Americans are wondering if Bowman will be held to account for the crime of “disruption of an official proceeding,” like has happened to a number of J6 prisoners.
But as a Democratic congressman, Bowman believes with some justification that he is 'above the law.'
It is now up to a judge to show us if we have a two-tiered justice system in America.
