Michelle Mather - Regional Director, Calgary - Candidate

Born and raised in the Edmonton area, Michelle Mather moved to Calgary in 1994. She raised her four children in south Calgary, and currently resides in Evergreen.
Michelle comes from a long line of hard working, proud Albertans who believed in going the extra mile, helping their neighbours, and giving back to their communities. Growing up with these values and a passion for learning, Michelle set herself on a path to success.
With a Business Degree from the University of Calgary, she started her career in corporate finance at TD Bank. Later, Michelle turned her attention to science, completing a Master’s of Neuroscience degree and working in neuroscience research at the Hotchkiss Brain Institute. At present, Michelle leads an entrepreneurial oilfield equipment company involved in projects across North America, Asia, Africa, and Australia. Michelle rounds out her credentials with a breadth of board experience encompassing political, non-profit and private corporate entities.
Michelle is a lifelong conservative and fiercely passionate about Alberta and our Party. She now hopes to earn your support and use her expertise, energy, and dedication to represent the Calgary region as our UCP Calgary Regional Director.
