MZTV 1332: The Hypocritical Life of a Christian Music Star
In 1998, Contemporary Christian Music star Clay Crosse wrote a song called, "Saving the World." Mike Telep used this song in 1999 as the intro to the second hour of our Grace Cafe radio broadcasts from Cleveland Ohio. Today, Clay Cross is the Lead Worship Minister at the First Baptist Church of Bentonville, Arkansas.
"Saving the Word" is a catchy tune with beautiful Scriptural lyrics about Jesus saving the world. Ironically, the man singing the song does not believe—not even close—that Jesus saved the world. How is such an incredible thing even possible? That is the question conclusively answered in this edition of MZTV.
