John D Rockefeller who started the Standard Oil Co., controlled 91% of oil refinement and 85% of final sales in the United States. This is why the US Government began the Prohibition, it was done to preserve the monopolistic business interests of controlling the US Petrochemical industry in favour of John D Rockefeller.
