Lamentations from the Old Testament is a foreshadow prophecy for the time it was written and for us today. Just as Judah was the sister of Israel in our world today America is the sister to Israel. Because of Apostasy I believe America is the great harlot and will be punished for going against God and following after other gods and pagan idols. The fall of America will be great, and I believe we are on the cusp of seeing this come to pass! We as Christians should pay attention to Old Testament prophecy because it is relevant for us today just as it was when it was written!
