In Germany, Father’s Day is celebrated on Ascension Day, 40 days after Easter, and involves men going on hikes with wagons full of beer and food.
In Thailand, Father’s Day is celebrated on December 5, the birthday of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who is considered the father of the nation. People wear yellow and give their fathers canna flowers.
